Amazing tender ribs every time!
We found this recipe for Dr. Pepper ribs a few years back and have made them several times! When making them at home I always move them to the grill for the last step to help caramelize the BBQ sauce. When in the RV I move them to an outdoor grill as well, but you can also move them into an oven as the recipe states.
A family favorite no matter where we make them!

Instructions
- Prep your ribs as normal by removing any membranes and trimming fat off you don't want. Cut so they fit into a large stockpot.
- Place ribs in the stockpot and pour the entire 2L of Dr. Pepper into the stock pot. Add the garlic, liquid smoke, and onion.
- Bring the pot to a boil and then turn down to simmer until the ribs are tender which takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Place ribs in baking pan and smother with the BBQ sauce of your choice and then bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. You can also forgo the oven and move the ribs to the grill which is my preference.
